MDKB Did It Again

Yep! It's been months since I wrote my last post. I was hoping that would be the last concerning the follies of MDKB. But alas, it was all wishful thinking! Yes sir, they did it again. The Batu Gajah MDKB went and did something that made my blood pressure jump through the roof.... They went and built some decorative fencing all over Batu Gajah town. The reason.....only God and the men behind MDKB knows why. The only reason I could think of is that they have some extra cash lying around that they don't know what to do with! With all the economic uncertainties facing this world, I feel sadden that the men behind MDKB are showing an utter lack of understanding and commitment in improving the lot of the less fortunate people living in Batu Gajah. Drive around the outskirts of Batu Gajah town, and you will see houses that are in a state of disrepair, ask the principals of any school in Batu Gajah, and they will tell you of students that are from families that can barely put food on the table.

I'll leave it at that! MDKB please.......PIKIOR.

The silliness of MDKB Batu Gajah

To those who intend to visit Batu Gajah, look out for the enormous and palatial MDKB office. It's a joke amongst the residents of Batu Gajah cos in all probability, its going to be a white elephant just like the enormous bus station that is hardly used. Oh yes, put the bus station as part of your itinerary to Batu Gajah.
Of course, you cannot forget the "clock tower" built right smack in the middle of town. It has undergone 2 facelifts and hopefully this would be the last.
And then, don't forget Kellie's Castle that was given a coat of orange paint and as such, has lost all its charms. Go figure!
I have many more grouses but enough for the time being. I'll save for my next posting. To those who's read this blog, be on the lookout for my next posting cos I'll be uploading some photos of mentioned silliness.
I hope someone from MDKB will read and respond to this blog but I doubt they will since they have a poor record of listening to complaints.
Anyway, Happy Eid Adha to everyone in Batu Gajah, anyone from Batu Gajah and of course the people in MDKB.
